Colette Ain't Kool, Eh Son?

Mom was looking at someone's blog yesterday and saw some of these pictures. They're pretty cool. A lady named Colette Peters makes them.

Here's her site: www.colettescakes.com

Kinda reminds you of all those sophisticated birthday cakes I used to make for y'all, doesn't it? Well, doesn't it? A little????

Okay, you guys are back in the will.

You know, Bethenni, I really like your post. I bet Caitlin does too, considering she got her first two initials on top of one of the featured cakes.

Ben said...

yeah, she should go by C. S. Rauscher

The Blog Marm said...

Maybe she will yet, when she is an accomplished author. I think we need to start calling her Clive, to encourage her.

Love the title, Bethany! Okay, I needed help, but it's great now that I get it.

I liked the Bookish feast fest, the 55 Presidential Inauguration, the Frosty the snowman,Father's day and The princess and the pea cake.

Hey, I thought I knew who this anonymous was, but de was up at 7:51 on a Saturday, so I could be wrong......Not sure it would be any of my relatives. Well, then again there is the one who likes to call me early on Saturdays & let me know the sun is up......

Anonymous said...

So is de pronounced "dee" or "day"?

Ben said...

bertha!
dee, definitely

The Blog Marm said...

I think C feels bad you didn't tell her how to pronounce it....she asked the same thing on another post..........

Anonymous said...

no, C doesn't feel bad...(*gives Ben the evil eye*)

Ben said...

haha

Ben said...

man, I can feel the glare from here

Ben said...

OK.
You know what?
I still don't get Bethany's title.
And I feel dumb every time I look at it.
Someone, explain.

The 4-18-06 post may give you a clue (the Gracie one).

Ben said...

um, no. nothing coming.

Too bad the camera's broken; we could add the cake we had tonight for Ben's birthday. Sort of an original brown rectangle with 24 randomly placed candles, but quite tasty. We decided to have cake as long as he was here; we weren't trying to leave everyone else out of the celebration.

I read the 4-18-06 post and I am clueless as well.

Well, FLG stands for Finger Lickin' Good...it's kind of the opposite with this post.

Anonymous said...

Ben said...

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

t'would be shameful.

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

Ben said...

Ben said...

Ben said...

oh wait...that was Bethany's post. Nice, Bethany. I hope you feel good about yourself. There's a proverb about this somewhere.

Anonymous said...

Yes, I felt very good about it until you beat me.

Ben said...

well, technically it's not my post. Tis J&A's. So I don't know if it counts.

Ben said...

whoa
and that's probably without the frosting

The Blog Marm said...

Well, if I could do that, I wouldn't let them go cheap. Especially since each one would probably take me at least a week, with no time for sleeping. I also wouldn't let anyone cut them.
