Well...it would seem the topless sandals did not stand the test of time. Neither Logan nor Cassandra is ecstatic about their new footwear. Apparently, they aren't as sticky after they are washed. I was with Logan several days ago, and he was limping along in his sandals to try to keep them on, and tonight Cassandra was having some serious trouble driving in them. So, while they were a fun idea, they are not all we hoped they would be.
However, I still plan on getting a pair. I am going to try and have a system before I start to wear them that will minimize the dirt and dust that collects on them. I will try to make sure that my feet are clean before I put them on, and I will also find some way to hang the shoes upside down when they are not in use (so less dust settles on them). And, I will try and follow the cleaning directions to the letter.
Are the sandals worth going through all this trouble? Perhaps not. ButI'd like to see if they can be made to last.
I will let you all know how these things work out.

wow cool
I thought Caty made this up
alas, no. they did seem too cool to be true.
And they sounded so fun!
You can still get me some for Christmas if you want, Tim. Even if they aren't all they're cracked up to be. Somewhere in the recesses of my memory it seems that I've placed impractical footwear under the tree for you...
yeah and I got Sam some. He got Godzilla feet-shaped shoes one year.
But those are still quite popular around here. They get used, whenever we can find both. Okay, so then I guess they don't get used much, but people still like them. And I think they fit Isaiah now.
And you wear your snowshoes every time it snows in July.
And they don't fit me anymore :(
I still want some!
no, me!

You could try asking again this year :)
