Dance for Jesus

Not sure if I ever posted this, but it is a picture from Gracie's last birthday. She has had a lovely day, although since our digital camera had its fatal accident, we are unable to give you current pictures quite yet.
We are so thankful for this little ballerina. I am taken back to my pregnancy with her (and quite a few difficult months before). Lots of uncertainty, even missing Ben's high school graduation because things were looking a little scary with her. And now look at her! What a blessing, and what a testimony to the goodness, faithfulness and artistic genius of our loving God.

For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You,
for I am fearfully
and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them.

How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them!
If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand...Psalm 139 : 13 - 18a

May she come to truly know and love Him, who first loved her.
Happy Birthday, Grace!

was there a party for Grace?

We just let her open her presents throughout the day, and she took cupcakes to Sparks. We do have the stuff to make her cake, but we are trying to decide if we can do a "friend party" sometime. If so, she'd want her fancy cake then.
