.....a spider. But it wasn't your average ordinary everyday spider (I've been watching Spider-Man) it was the most dangerous spider in the world (at least, in America), it was...........

a Black widow
And I took it home and then we saw that it had a little heart on it, (other than an hourglass) I had named it Blackie , but after I saw the heart I named it Hart. And it's a girl so it may be a Black widow widow. Dad said it was the biggest black widow he's ever seen.

And I believe this "one time" was yesterday, and I believe you've had this pet long enough. In fact, I think maybe she's lived long enough.
Mom! I know you don't mean that
Oh, don't I?
And even naming her after her Uncle Tim doesn't endear her to me enough to make me want to keep her. Or to keep her alive.
Oh, and did I mention I picked it up all by myself, not the cross, the spider.
(with a flyswatter)
But right now she's 'mostly dead'.
Yaaaayyyyy! Good news!
The big-bad-widow's-dead!
The big-bad-widow's-dead!
So somewhere in the woods there is a spider who might need to be told he is a black widower??
Maybe not; She had probably already eaten him...
now she's really skinny so you can't see the heart.
(I haven't gotten around to give her a proper burial yet:))
