Mom's

I'm going to try this, although I don't know what I want. Having everyone home will be, seriously, plenty.

Let's see.
I would love to have another bread pan. I got one recently from Food Lion (it's black & heavy & coated or maybe ingrained with something). So I have one good one and three that grow rustier all the time. But just one more good one would be good for now.

I saw some nice Corningware at WalMart. It's lightweight, not like the traditional kind. Pretty cool. But pricey. Not sure I need it that badly.

Socks are always good. But I don't think I need to ask for them. I think Paul pretty much usually gets me some : )

Ditto on earrings. I really don't know where two are that match. But I haven't finished cleaning up my room yet. Note: we are not talking about expensive ones. I am too irresponsible an earring owner.

Another family picture would be wonderful. Think we can swing it while everyone's home? It'll be outdated come April, but then we'll just have to do it again : )

T & C, I remember Josh & Abby gave me an 8 X 10 of their wedding at some point after their wedding. I would love a picture of your wedding to go with it. It can be you two, or whatever grouping (including you two) you choose. That would be so nice. If I were really smart I would just have one printed from my computer files & framed, but I don't ever seem to get it done. Just a thought.

I'd also love a big picture of David for our wall. I think you might have shown me one with my name on it?

A new sifter would be cool. I kind of like the kind with the turning handle on the side, but the other kind is okay, too.

You know, I can think of a lot more stuff than this. But this is good for now. And really, if you just come home, I'll be happy with that. I promise.

Actually, I just thought of one more thing, but it sounds very mommish. I would love it if you could all help me out with the basement. I need to seriously get rid of things and it is pretty hard to do when I keep running into all your old treasures. I know there will be plenty to do over whatever time you can be here, but if you have any time.... maybe we can spend a little time down there. And maybe you can all persuade me to throw some things out. I hear people do that. (Sounds so mundane for Christmas, I know. Sigh : )

Love lots,
Mom

And you know, seriously, I am not being noble, but you could all save your money if you want to just help me with the basement. An orderly basement would be remembered as a great gift. (Okay, there are two or three kids -- and maybe Dad -- who would seek to disqualify themselves simply because the dust would actually kill them. Minor, silly reason :)
