You're A Good Man, Izzy Joel

Okay, time for an Izzy update.

He's a smart, funny boy. But I guess you know that.

This is today, with the kite SAM made in VBS last night.
Yep, they sometimes fly kites in Afghanistan, my children
have informed me, and last night was Afghanistan night. He
couldn't find his, so he tried to fly Sam's, and when I looked
outside he was standing a little forlornly, looking at the kite, trying
to figure out how to free it. It might look like it's flying,
but it's stuck, about 5 or 6 feet off the ground. He reminded
me of a certain classic cartoon character.

Refrigerator Art. Isaiah drew this happy picture.
Bethany asked him who it was, and he said Abby.
Maybe I see it. Abby does have 2 eyes. And a nice
smile.

Okay, now I know he is my son. This is like
the pictures I take. I thought it was his finger,
but Bethany informs me it is the paper towels.

Last night as we were coming home from church, we were doing our family devotional time in the car & he was picked to pray. Here's part of what he said, I'm sure it's not perfectly word for word, but close:
".... and when I go to bed, please take care of me.
And when Mom spanks me, please forgive her."

Several days ago he got hold of the camera & took a few pictures. He didn't do a bad job on them. So as his dad was getting on to him, it was funny because he would tell him he's never to use that camera, he's too little, but then he also has to tell him that he HAS TO PUT THE STRAP ON HIS WRIST.

So NEXT TIME (yep) Isaiah gets it, Bethany shows me this really cool picture he took (just below, can you guess what it is?) and Izzy tells me happily that he PUT HIS WRIST ON! No, he didn't get spanked. Yes, maybe he should have. No, the instructions were probably very unclear. Yep, he's a selective listener.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
But we kinda like him anyway.
Kind of a lot.
Looks like a tuba with a toy drumstick in the throat. not the chicken kind of drumstick. Say ah-ah. You could also frame it and send it in to let the public figure it out.hp.
By the way, the mystery photo was a wallpaper border roll (like a skinny, small paper towel roll). He was just looking down into it to take the picture.
